Looking at your pictures is giving me some excitement to start mine. Did you solder or use CE glue on the frame.

Actually, while I secured some low melt solder, CA medium worked quite well.
The pics don’t show well but the frame sections polished up quite well, looking very much like polished aluminum, using only 000 steel wool, with bright paint to cover the small glued joints.
