Hi all,
Having some fun here. This kit started life as the Entex 1/28 Wolf WR-5 motorized kit. The decals were long gone and since the scale is 1/28, finding an aftermarket decal set was out of the question. However, I did find that 1/72 airplane decals fit quite well.
The Wolf is finished as Robert Sanford Tuck's famed DT-A Hawker Hurricane, "Burma." I used Tamiya's AS line of aircraft lacquers for the Hurricane scheme. The underside of the front and rear wings are painted in the white/black split of the Battle of Britain Hurricanes. While the build is nothing extraordinary, I had fun.
Thanks for looking,
Jake

Re: Wolf WR-5 Ready for Battle
Great use of a kit that might have gone to waste. I love the theme. I wish I had half of the creativity of some of you, I'd almost wager that you had more fun building this than you would have if the kit was an intact WR-5. Very cool!
