Another great news !!!
Starting August 20th at http://www.modellingstore.com.
Alfa Romeo 182 of 1982 by Neko Models
Extremely faithful to the car that raced at the 1982 Monaco GP, based on refined 3d design with exact measurements and proportional to the real model, with white metal parts, photo etched and rubber tires.

Re: New model at modellingstore !!!!
What a great model!.
Thanks for the post, Nelson.
Looks like a real replica.
Rubber tires, photo-etched, and no cutting templates...
Much better than sapito's.
Cheers,
João Alfredo.

Re: New model at modellingstore !!!!
Dear James,
I have seen the pictures of the pieces from both kits.
And they show very well the differences.
Wasn't my inttention to upset you.
My apologises.
This is only my personal opinion.
For sure someone will disagree and find Sapito much better than Neko's.
Best Regards,

I'd say they actually show the similarities, virtually 99%, even the part split, which otherwise is quite logical.Jonalfre wrote: I have seen the pictures of the pieces from both kits.

No worries, I am not upset at all.

PS: I doubt anybody with a minimal objectiveness will find any of them "much better" than the other since they look pretty much the same, both assembled or not. I never commented or highlighted competition's choices' shortcomings and won't in this case either.

Re: New model at modellingstore !!!!
I think pointing out that one of the kits has a full driver figure with decals is a fair point to compare!JamesB wrote:I'd say they actually show the similarities, virtually 99%, even the part split, which otherwise is quite logical.Jonalfre wrote: I have seen the pictures of the pieces from both kits.

Re: New model at modellingstore !!!!
And another is the fact that one kit is only resin and the other of various materials such as photo etched metals and rubber tires. Assembly results may differ. I prefer a multimedia kit

Fair point about resin vs. multi-media! I will probably end up buying both!
