Hi,
Please have patience. There are either a lot of mistakes on MFH instructions that are difficult to decipher, or I'm just stupid. Having built my share of Tameo Super Detail kits, I don't think it's me, but I need some help again on my first MFH kit.
Please see the attached. I'm building version B. I just cannot figure out why there are red and green lines pointing to/from different bits in the upper right of the "10" panel for the left side front fender. There are no general instructions, like the red means this, and the green means that, and looking through other areas of the instructions the difference between red and green lines is totally escaping me.
Help, please.
Greg

Re: MFH Instructions Confusion
Without seeing the kit, I'll take a stab at this:
The green lines identifies parts.
M = metal(white metal?); RE = resin; E = photoetch
The red lines indicate where parts or sub-assemblies are to be attached (if they're not already shown place in the diagram like the smaller bits)
does that make sense?

I think you are right. But I haven't built a MFH kit yet, and don't have an instruction here right now.marlborored wrote: does that make sense?

It's the 1/24 Ferrari 335S, Version B.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Greg

Re: MFH Instructions Confusion
What marlborored said is correct. The red lines show where parts or sub assemblies are to be located, if they are not already shown in place. Think of these sheets of paper as a set of parts locator diagrams, NOT assembly instructions.

Well, that took awhile to sink in, but I get it now. Thank you very much!rasputen wrote:What marlborored said is correct.
