Ferrari 335S Photos, #6, LeMans 1957
Hi All,
My 1/24 MFH kit of this car will be here Saturday from UpScale Hobbies (great service and pricing). I've been searching everywhere for a color photograph of the entire car, and so far this is all I've found on the internet, and nothing in my several Ferrari reference books. If anyone has a photo and could share, it would be greatly appreciated.
I was really surprised to see it had blue wheels, but it adds an interesting touch.
Thanks and Cheers,
Greg

I can't help with additional pictures, but if you look closely at yours you can see th front wheel is green and the rear wheel blue.
Colour pictures on the internet/screens are difficult to trust, so i'd investigate further

Good hawkeye! anyway... might front be blue, though look green due to braking dust? which happens more at the front? just an idea...jaykay wrote:I can't help with additional pictures, but if you look closely at yours you can see th front wheel is green and the rear wheel blue.

Fronts are green. For the Mille Miglia and Sebring cars the front wheel is green with a yellow edge and silver rear wheels. Ferrarichat I think has a thread for #674 and #684 with photos and information. Off to the Miller vintage event at the Milwaukee Mile today. Always have a few Bugatti and Alfa pre war open wheel cars along with a few French open wheel cars and plenty of vintage pre 1965 Indy.

Thanks everybody! The kit has arrived, and the instructions have green rims in front, and blue rims in the rear, for car #6 (Chassis #700). If I look at that photo above long enough, I can just about convince myself the fronts are green!
I'm a member of Ferrarichat (not a Ferrari owner, though ). I'll see if they have anything on Chassis #700.
Cheers,
Greg
