Oh, boy ! What a history of build for this one. It definitely looks like a test. I hope that was a tipping point though, spell is broken and
everything falls in place from now on. Hopefully you can overcome the curse and rebuild it into great model after this. Good luck ! Don't give up.

Done at last! Done at last! And this time, the rear wing did not crumble!
I somehow got the gearbox/rear wing reattached to the rest of the car and then realized i'd missed a part! Part C22 (sorry, i'm not a mechanic) and the top two supports broke off whole. I couldn't get the entire piece to tuck in under the rear brake ducts, so I had to cut the whole into thirds and reapply them piece by piece. What fun! But I got them all on without dropping the thing again...ah, the small victories in life!
So here it is, Patrick Depallier's P34 from the '76 Japanese GP ( Saturday version  ). Not quite as cool looking as Jody's, but it looks better than being in the box I threw ( not really) it in after the original fell to pieces! Now I can display it with my other 2 Depallier P34's.

I had to attach the wing at an angle on the supports as the whole gearbox/engine wound up quite crooked!

I never could get front wheel 3 to not pigeon toe on the 12 scale.

Bossy, if you ever find a way to solve the "Pigeon Toe" problem with the 4 wheels up front on the 1/12 scale P34, please let us all know what you did to rectify it! - Mine looks like two beginner skiiers going down the slopes for the first time nailed together...hehe! its ugly! (My car)...
Thanx for sharing, Kirk

No, as far as I could tell, Icons don't have the raised letters and I wanted ones with raised letters. Those are a set of Studio 27 aftermarkets. I paid more for those tyres than for the kit! But they do look nice, i'm very pleased.
