Do we know which modifications must be done to the Tamiya parts to do an accurate reproduction of the K3? I assume that many things will be different. Steering wheel, seat, dashboard and so on.
I remember that somebody could get good pictures of the car when it was rebuilt by Canepa.
Numero Reservé decals are included in the price? if not, please consider to offer transkit+decals, It's easier for us to get everything from you.
And a last question. I see that the engine and rear bonnets are made as separate parts. What about to offer the driver's door as a separate part to have the chance to see the internal cockpit?
Thanks a lot. Great job!!
Joaquin

Thats about the decals prices.capri-schorsch wrote:Thanks for all your interest.jaydar wrote:Christian:
Phenomenal work! Do you have a price for car and decals yet?
Joe.
I don't know exactly the price for the decals. But I can tell you what I have payed for it.
3 printed pages DinA4 = 108€
1 page with the printed Windows 20€
Depends on which version you want.
I think the bigger ones are made with the apple and Numero Reserve car.
The Jägermeister livery is much easier.
But all these decals are not made by me. You have to ask Michael for prices.
So, what is my price for a transkit?
Think about a price of 125€ for it.
What do you think? Too much?
And yes, I still got plans for a simple Curbside kit. But first I have to make some money and build my Numero Reserve car for my cabinet. I really will do it, but first I need fresh money for all that resin and silicone.
Regards Christian
I am not the decal printer. Have to buy it also.

The seat, steering wheel and the dashboard is very close to the Tamiya 935 kit. I made the insert for the dashboard which is close to the real one.
But a K3 was different from team to team.
Canepa got a great picture database from there restauration of the car.
As I written earlier. I do not made the decals. They have to be ordered in the livery you want to have. Will not order 10 of the same and sitting on it for the next year's. Sorry.
The engine hood and front hood are but separate. I used a saw and cut them out of the body. You can see those steps a few pages earlier here.
Right now i am as far as you could see here in the wip. The chassis fits to the body. But not more.
Don't know how the engine or the oil tank fits under the hoods.
I got a manual on my website where I reported all flaws and how to fix them.
That's all I can do.
I'm not MFH and can offer prefect fitting model kits.
Sorry!
