Mfh Lotus 49 1/20 (Finished)
Found out i havent posted this one here yet
Box:
Contents, forgot some wm bags :
First dryfit:
Seat done with supplied material:
Start of the engine:
Few steps further, ignition and fuellines added, also added the intakes:
Yellow parts are decals in the kit, but airbrushed the yellow instead, added the few decals and sprayed 2k:
Added the radiator, still missing a lot of pipes:
A few steps further, added parts of the rear suspension, wheels are done also. The gold striping is a decal from the kit. Didnt work for me, so airbrushed the striping:

Absolutely beautiful. The metal finish on the radiator cowling looks perfect. Such an iconic car, great work.

Great WIP! Any big snags so far? Looks really great with the yellow stripe painted.

Excellent model, great idea to paint the yellow, great job on the templates, spot on. As someone mentioned the radiator looks great too. Thumbs up!

Re: Mfh Lotus 49 1/20
Thank you, so far, no big problems... Typical mfh, testfit a lot before painting and learn the instructions. I have just found out, i could have put a lot more parts on the tub prior to painting... So now i have a second batch ready to mount (attachements for the plumbing along side the tub, attachements where the struts go from the engine on to the thub,...), and the fitting is tight, because the tub is already painted and cleared.CelicaGT wrote:Any big snags so far?
