Re: 1/12 Kremer K3 Porsche 935
Just used the resin saw with the porsche today.
Engine cover could take off now.
Air intakes are open, need some sanding now.
Front hood is open too.
Position lights and turn indicator are done.
rear lights are ready for casting.
need some smaller parts and the transkit will be ready.
regards Christian

I will be in China and Japan next week and will be on the look out for a Tamiya 935 donor car. Also got a personal invitation to tour MFH.
BTW Motor Trend TV had a special on the Whittington 1979 Le Mans car over the weekend. It was very interesting.
The brothers wanted to be the lead drivers, so they bought the car in cash from Kremer. Amazing stuff.

Yes, Kremer want to start the race with Klaus Ludwig.
So they bought the car and started the race.
Couple of years later they were arrested for drug smuggling together with John Paul senior I think.

Another interesting item that was brought up. During the restoration of the car at Bruce Canepa's shop, a hiding nitrous bottle was found. They do not know if it was used for the 79 Lemans.

Here's a Youtube video telling the story of the Whittington Brothers. Pretty entertaining...

Re: 1/12 Kremer K3 Porsche 935
looking good so far
some spots still needs some sanding to get the chassis tighter into the resin body.
will cast these inner structure to the small resin part for the inner mold.so i have it ready for other copies.
regards Christian
? why are my pics not in the right size? The right side is cutted

And Christian, stunning work - I'm tempted to say "as usual". I love this car and you're doing another beautiful
model of it.
Cheers,
Roman
