Re: MFH Gurney Eagle
Continued great work!! Love the heat staining on the exhausts. His did you do it? Looks like you used a lighter to actually heat stain them.
Cheers,
Chris

finishing the exhaust with an actual flame is an interesting Idea, I wonder if it would work?
I used Alclad 2 paints and an airbrush.

Re: MFH Gurney Eagle
It will work depending on the material of the exhaust. I used a lighter to heat stain the p.e. exhaust shields on my Ferrari 126C4 M2. Looked pretty cool.blakebirk wrote:Thanks for the kind comments.CBartholomew4677 wrote:Continued great work!! Love the heat staining on the exhausts. His did you do it? Re: MFH Gurney Eagle
Finished!
this is the base it will be displayed on.
This is the 3rd MFH kit I've built, I'm very happy with the end result.
I'm not blaming the kit but I had some issues building this one, Perhaps I didn't test fit enough although I thought I did. the body work seams are a little wide and the wheels were pointing in strange directions when I first put them on so adjustments had to be made. I appreciate a challenge and pushing the limits of my model building skills.

Re: MFH Gurney Eagle
I think it is a very fine result. One question, did you paint the white or did you use the decals???
Thanks,
Joe.
