Am I the only one who reads the title of this topic as an announcement/wish for a 1/12 (say STP) *March* car?

The more I study the 2 pictures the more I am sure we talk a Sunoco 1973 Porsche 917/30. I AM READY. This is (also) a MUST-HAVE.

Re: 1/12 MFH March - what could it be
Didn’t the earlier 917 kits have a major problem with fit of cylinder heads - or similar? I can’t find a WIP that says this but I am sure I read about it on F1M at some point.
If I am correct, is this version likely to have the same issues - or is the engine a slightly different design?
PS Jeep - I made the same comment a day or two ago. A Peterson 761 is still one of the top items in my 1/12 wish List!

Re: 1/12 MFH March - what could it be
Not the cylinders / heads / block as such. Their fit is actually pretty good. Aligning them takes a bit of patience or
a ruler, but there was mention of the intake stacks and the shroud needing a little bit of boring out to actually fit.
I think caterhamnut mentioned that in his build (please finish it!) or maybe someone else did.
As for which 917.. don't care, it's my Pokemon, gotta catch 'em all.

Re: 1/12 MFH March - what could it be
I have build the 1/12 Hippie 917 and the fit was not a big issue. Except the doors which are VERY tricky to fit. Problem was more the hard and stiff decals. But that problem should be solved with regard to the new MFH kits.

Well
with the 3rd picture now up at MFH it is now obvious and "unofficially" confirmed.
This means: The next month will be expensive for me.
