Fantastic effect for the radiator. Can you give us the 2 outside diameters of the brass washers?

Thanks,

Joe.

Thanks for your nice comments!

Here's a few extra photo's with the oil cooler, radiator and protective cover permanently in place.

@Joe: the dimensions are 1.6mm for the inner rod, 2.4mm for the small disc and 3.4mm for the big discs.

I might have some good news for one of you guys who are interested in the oil cooler parts. I actually cut and cleaned twice the amount needed for the whole cooler... and since I'm not planning on building another P4 in the near future, I'm hoping that somebody is interested in buying the lot. These discs are ready to assemble, no more work is needed except for placing them on a 1.6mm rod (rods not included). Please PM me if you're interested.
Both strands are approx. 32cm long, more then enough for the whole cooler. You'll need 61.6cm in total (14 * 4.4).

Thanks for watching & enjoy the Monaco GP (if you are into such things ;))

Almost a shame to paint the brass and cover it up. But hot damn, that definitely looks awesome. Manual
labour.. pffff writing the how to probably took more time than you doing it manually (joking of course).

Btw PM sent.

Roman

For reference, you might try this site. The owner of 0856 and 0846 has some pics and others are here too. The whole site is full of reference pics.

Jim doesn't come on fchat anymore due to the fact that many dispute that his P 3/4 is 0846. They claim it's a recreation, or a bitsa. Still, great pictures and great cars.

First of all the 330P4 chassis #0846 (or n°846 as Ing.Forghieri likes it to be called) was "just" a P4: Ferrari never called it "P3/4", even though it originally was a 330P3 it was later modified to P4 specs so lost its "P3" label.
Then: "we" claim that Mr.Glickenhaus's car is a replica (David Piper built it as DP0003) because of many points, based on period photographic evidences and well explained FACTS that came directly from Ing.Forghieri's letters sent to Mr.Steven Robertson and to me.
Comparing the real #846 to Mr.Glickenhaus' car is clear that:
DP003's front half of chassis is different to #846's, then
its rear half of chassis is all wrong,
it has no chassis number,
it has an ENTIRELY WRONG ENGINE,
wrong brakes ,
non original bodywork
non original transmission
non original wheels.
It would be great to have #846 still racing but unfortunately its chassis was scrapped by Ferrari back in 1967 and surely DP0003 is not that car and never was.

That said:
Marcus you are doing a superb, awesome work on your model, I really like it!
