1/12 Lotus 49 - Reasonably Anatomically Correct....
I really wanted to make a good example of the Lotus 49 before British Racing Green was abandoned. I chose the 1968 South African Grand Prix winning car as this was Jim Clark's 25th and final win - and as almost all the 1/12 kits I have seen of this car depict the 1967 Dutch Grand Prix car which won on its debut - which was also of course the debut of the Ford Cosworth DFV.Read

I didn't know you could link to a gallery from a thread like this.
Great build, nice car! I can appreciate all the work you put into this.

I love a good 49 and this one is really, really nice. This one is really well done and I like the figure, too, that is a nice touch I always appreciate. Did Clark always wear an Esso patch? Strange to see on his uniform with Shell on the car!?
A great tribute to the last win of a legend!
