Re: New 1/12 MFH for November
Has anyone seen that it's a curbside......... it's not a full detail i think, engine is spare to show it builded outside the model but as what i see it's a curbside..... no opened doors and bonnet etc. (this dont mean that it's not a fantastic piece for collection)
Re: New 1/12 MFH for November
I was going to disagree but i will admit it does not say "Full Detail"!!!!

Two bodies?
Is this a guess, or do you have actual information?

Je ne regrette rien.

Um, I am surprised I think I'll agree. The body shell seems to be made from more or less one large piece
with none of the doors and lids opening up? Noting that, I wonder why the intake on the bonnet isn't cast
into the body then same as the thing on the back. Maybe a variation with a different shape / size intake?
SUSPENSE mode activated.
Not Full Detail would mean it's cheaper. That aside, that 250 engine.. wasn't it like Ferrari's default
engine anyway?

Different intakes for version A & B would be the likeliest reason, yeah. Saves money on the molds - since the body casting probably requires the most rubber, and is the largest, most difficult part to mold, cast one main body that can be used for either boxing, then just add whichever intake that specific version requires. There's a good chance they'd cast BOTH intakes and just re-melt any excess parts. (they're casting several different parts from a single mold, and it's cheaper/easier to just scrap the metal than set up a version specific molding)sky1911 wrote: I wonder why the intake on the bonnet isn't castinto the body then same as the thing on the back. Just put my order in with Mac. Finally a Pontoon body that looks great.

I will build this version. I got to sit in it many years ago. I have all the correct numbers and rondals.
