Porsche 956 Detail Set (Japanese?)

Post by dr_gn »

Guys, I'm sure Ive seen a 1:24 detail set for the Tamiya 956. I think it was from a guy in Japan. I can't find a contact for obtaining this stuff, does anyone here know?

Thanks.

Yes that's right. I think I emailed them last year, but the message kept getting bounced back.

I have received my set from Mr Sumsumu-san on the 20th of February, email communication was not problem and the parts took about 1 week to arrive from Japan. info@claymodels.co

The quality of the resin castings are magnificent! While you are at it, consider picking up the Speed Details booklet on the 956 engine.... another well worth wile purchase!

Thanks for that. I've got the Scale Motorsport Reference CD which is quite good, but those wiring diagrams look useful. I built the Tamiya XJR9 LM with full engine detail and funding referenced took longer than building the model.

BTW does anyone know if the Tamiya Rothmans 956 has the correct tail?
