Thanks everyone.
Vekkuli - It's got some TS-13 over the decals, to ensure that they won't peel at some stage. However, given all of the previous decal issues I had, and then my first time using Indycals (excellent), I didn't put more than a few coats on and sand back to reduce the raised look of the decals. I just clear coated and left it with a bit of a polish.
As for the fit of parts, it is difficult to get it all together, very closely engineered, and quite complex. I found that it can be done, but you need to ensure that everything is lined up perfectly. I found that to be a challenge given the complexity of it all, and getting the turbos and associated pipes was a key. Dry fit as much as you can.
Cheers
Tony

Good tip, Tony. Those turbo units are a bear. (I drilled a hole right up through the middle of mine, and stuck a pin through all the parts, so that I could rotate the pipes into proper position.)tonym wrote:... getting the turbos and associated pipes was a key. Dry fit as much as you can.

I'm still amazed at the shine you achieved. I've gotta ask --- did you polish the car..?
Cheers, Chris

Hi Tony,
That's a very nice build. I can never get tired of looking at Loti in the glorious JPS livery.
Did you build it curbside due to the engine cover fit issues that Steve mentioned?
Thanks for sharing the completed pics with us, it'll give me some inspiration to get on with mine.
Cheers, Paul
