Thanks everyone for your kindly words, it's greatly appreciated.Eagle50 wrote:I like the added fuel lines. (Is that monofilament fishing line I see, going to the trumpets?) Cosworth lettering on the heads looks sharp too, up close.
And so does your white / green masking on the rear cowl. Looks good up close. Much better than my masking went on the car, back when I built it.
Cheers,
Chris
Yes Chris, those are fishing line that I painted with Tamiya clear yellow. I had to buy two different sizes because I wasn't sure with one would be the best in scale, but it's fine because both were on clearance
As for the masking, please don't look too close
I hope will have another update by the weekend, stay tuned

Re: 1979 Williams FW-07 Ford
He I am back with another update:
I used bare metal foil to simulate the heat shield on the rear wing support
And also married the engine & transmission with the rest of the car
Getting close to the final laps
Thanks for watching and comments.
Till next time.

Re: 1979 Williams FW-07 Ford
Thanks everyone for your compliments.
It's time for the last update before this model cross the line under the checkered flag
The skirts are installed (glued)
As the front bodywork, that's not glued.
I would like to thanks everyone who followed this w.i.p. and left comments, tips and compliments and Indycals for the decals.
Pictures of the complete model will be in the appropriate forum (or the link below)
