Tamiya 79 Hobbycraft sale

Post by zooks »

Hi all, don't know if this is the right place to post this but I just picked up this kit in the hobby craft sale for £33. Not too bad of off the shelf uk prices.

Great find. I went to Hobbycraft last weekend (with a 25% discount voucher), but they didn't have any of those, dammit!

I don't usually buy kits from there because of their high prices but every so often find a bargain. I also bought a 1/24 Porsche 935 martini there for £8.

Trouble is I just can't walk past the place now and my stash is growing to wife unfriendly proportions :)

I know what you mean. A mate just told me they have Revell's 1/32 Red Arrows BAe Hawk for £11.99, and a 1/144 full-stack Space Shuttle for £4.99. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I can't get to my local branch for at least a week...
