Anthony,
Your work is great as always! For the tub, what aluminum plate are you using to cover it?
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Cheers,
Chris

It is surely some great work. I've considered doing the 312T as my next 1/12 project but the MP4/6 I'm doing now is sapping the life energy out of me...so much to do! I completely understand why you've taken a break from this! ;)

I'm really curious--what type of rivets are you using? Something turned? Or, thin solder line? Also, what size hole did you drill for these?

Maybe those can help you. They are from a restored chassis, so be careful with the interpretation.
Sorry for the hobbit in sandals in the last picture.

I don't plan to use any aluminium plates or foil. I will paint it.

I will use resin rivets from "MasterClub" (0.3/0.4 mm), metal one will be very expensive - i already have about 1500 holes and works on it are not complete yet.
I have used 0.36 mm drill.

I should have known you'd use the MC rivets! You being Russian and all! ;)

They are a good value...I'll definitely use them when I do these builds!

nice photos there :) did you take them at Mont Tremlant? Unfortunatly I could not make it there this year. Too many things on the go as both my parents and parents in law are celebrating their golden anniversarry in the next few weeks. I still have to be carefull not to try to do to much to make sure I stay on the right path with my health.

But I defenitly want to be there next year. It is my favorite outing . I just love Historic Grand Prix.

Actually Markus, these were taken last summer (2011). As you said, the Tremblant event is coming up next weekend and sadly, I don't think I will be able to attend this year. One thing is sure, those historic type of events are always stimulating for the model making habit.

BTW, glad to have back on the forum!

Anthony- great stuff! I have been putting this kit off because I feel I am not worthy, and I must say your build is very inspiring (but I'm still not ready..)
