3M Trizact 3000 at Car Dealer

Post by herberr »

Found a product called 3M Trizact Performance Sandpaper in 3000 grit. It is a thin foam and so far love this stuff when starting polishing. It really feels good in the curves and hard to reach areas particularly when cutting it in small pieces or strips.

Bought it at Advanced Car Parts for $7 for a sheet.

Interesting. Is 3000 the highest grit they offer?

What I found on the shelves, yes. I used the stuff today and have to say I am excited after using thicker pads, padded sticks and fine grained Tamiya sandpaper. It doesn't replace all these things but so far my favorite for prepping my models for paint, and first stage prep for polishing.
