HI,
I have created a new Forum area just for the new Lotus 79 kits - I moved a number of topics from other areas into it.
I think it might be a good idea to have everything in one 'place'.

Very good thinking! I'm already lost with all those threads.
Yet i still don't know which one to buy...

Buy both! I know I will. And probably more than one of each, too. The more they sell, the more new kits we'll get.

Re: New Lotus 79 Forum
I have both kit from Tamiya and Hasegawa..
Tamiya Lotus kit seems predictable.
unlike the Hasegawa.. it's engineered differently than tamiya and posses challenges than Tamiya kit.
It can be fun kit for those who appreciate the process than just the final results.
once you open the box you can see how different the thought process when the 2 companies making the kit.
you can tell Hasegawa was racing against Tamiya to get the kit produced, and willing to take more risk (more error in writing instruction than Tamiya).
I think people can appreciate the effort from these 2 companies to satisfy the builders need.

Re: New Lotus 79 Forum
I'm in for this hand. I have both kits inbound from Japan and an ace in the hole from S27 in the stash. I suspect a lot of good info and extras will be generated for this subject!
