1988 Season in 1:20

What is it about 1988 ? I'm doing it to. I've got all of the aforementioned kits with the exception of the Lotus, which will be my next resin purchase. My current model is the Fujimi Ferrari, having completed the other available plastic kits.
From memory for the Rial, the discussion suggested that you need the Ferrari and a Benetton B188.

Snorri the least expensive way of creating the 1988 grid is in 43rd scale,and you can get pretty well every car that ran either from Tameo,FDS,SCR,etc,I know it's not the scale you are looking for but it's the only way to get a complete 88 grid without spending Thousands of pounds/Dollars etc.
Check out the Tameo and BBR web sites and also site like Grandprix models.

Hi Snorri the 43rds are all available as kits check out http://www.tameokits.com click on the products icon then models there are the high detail WCT kits and then the regular kits,for example there are the main players Lotus mclaren williams etc but also some of the more obscure teams Rial, Beatrice, Coloni, AGS,Minardi,Arrows,etc as mentioned earlier this is probally the most realistic way ahead for building a 1988 theme.

Last year of the Turbo era.

That's one reason, but mainly because i'm a McLaren and Senna fan, and that was their best season ever. Also it was the year I was born.
