That looks good fuel hard color to get right is there any cracking in the paint I had that happen to me with the alclad chrome

Nope, no cracking, but there are a couple of very fine scratches that are visible. I am hoping these disappear when I clear coat it.

wow awesome rendering, but to me not true to the 1:1 scale car. The clear will soften it a bit.

Well:
The minute scratches did not disappear when I clear coated it.
So the body was stripped, and cleaned up. I re-filled a couple of areas, re-primed it with Zero Micro filler primer, and I shot a new coat of Krylon Gloss Black. the Krylon was by far easier to work with, and appears to be glossier than the Alclad black base. I am going to let this sit for a week, or so and let it cure so that I can sand and buff any imperfections. I have done a test with the Alclad chrome and Tamiya X-22 clear. The X-22 knocks the chrome down, more than the Mr. Clear that I was going to use. Since the MP 4/24 did not have as much of a chrome finish as the MP 4/22, I will probably use the X-22.
