2004 Dale Jr Budweiser

Post by Bigasshammm »

Revell kit oob with the addition of tire decals from Mike's Decals. Went together fairly well I guess. I had it in progress for many months as it was just something I toiled with here and there and the body became my test bed for paint and clear coat. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the revell decals were.
Painted with Tamiya Italian Red (TS-8 I think) out of the spraycan. Cleared with Alaclad aqua gloss clear then a final Future coat over the decals.

I guess it turned out good for a nascar.

Looks great :!: :!: Too bad model companies stopped producing NASCAR kits. I like the current cars.

Thanks guys.

Apparently nascar is a bit too full of themselves to allow reasonable models anymore. Oh well. These Revell kits seem pretty good I may have to get some more. Even if I despise the sport a racecar is a racecar!

I read in another forum that Revell will do two kits (probably snap ones) of the Ford Fusion.

By the way, very nice model ;-) thanks for share it.
