Rowdy's #51 Exxon Lumina
I can now finally call this one completed. With all the issues with the paint and the aches in the hands from trying to rub it back and then the cutting and polishing it is nice to put this one away. I am happy to have it done and it looks OK but not really how I envisaged the final finish, I feel the decals are due better to be honest. The decals went down well but I did double up on the numbers as I felt the fluro red stripe did bleed through and so while I was at that I also doubled up on the Exxon logos to make sure all the white sections looked the same.
I do like the look of the Lumina so this will fit in well with the Foyt car and others.

Very nice work on the Lumina. Never been much of a NASCAR fan, but I am impressed with how yours turned out.
Cheers,
Chris

As for calling girls "Birds" i personnally have not done so but i am sure there are quite a few out there who do. If Steve Irwin was still around who knows....

Nice homage to a somewhat well made big budget Jerry Bruckheimer movie if anyone could recalled. "Days of Thunder" starring Tom Cruise, Robert Duvall, Nicole Kidman, Cary Elwes, Randy Quaid, and the driver from the #51 Exxon - Michael Rooker playing "Rowdy Burns".

Looks great Shayne - can't beat a shiny black car! Looking forward to see this at Model Expo in June?
