Front Row Joe's 2004 Kansas Winner

Post by Shunter »

I dug this one out and started to decal it. I must admit i am finding it hard to get time to do any models with the little man taking up loads of time, he is not demanding just i think i just look at him in awe all the time. This was my first experience of using JWTBM decals and they are good, nice and thin but I did find that they stick to the body quite quickly and were stubborn to move around, I also had a fair amount of glue residue to clean up which wasn’t easy. I did not want to use a polish or anything to help clean it up as I will clear over the decals soon, I just went with some dishwashing detergent and warm water.
I shall get onto building the chassis soon, I hope and maybe also look at doing the chassis for the Stroh’s Light Thunderbird as well.

Love the black, Shayne! I think the decals sticking and not shifting easy is just a trait of old Carto decals. At least they don't shatter like Slixx of similar vintages! :D
