Thanks again :)
How did you do such a nice job of painting the black around the windows?
Well, the front and rear windows were hand painted, and if you look closely, I did not really do a very good job there...
The side windows I painted using a paint marker with a thick tip - just put it on the edge of the window and go for a single stroke along it.

Really fantastic.
But, er... why didn't you add the Rothmans small decals on the blue stripes where they are supposed to go?
Otherwise, one of the better 037s I have seen!! :D

Well, they wre not part of the kit, and I didn't think there was a fill in decal set available, though now that I looked for it, there is indeed one with just the 3 poison logos on the stripes available...

Not arguing if there were or weren't Rothmans, but where were they used? I couldn't find them, "Where's Waldo style" in the '84 GPIs....and Google just gives you every damn 037 made. I did find some Senna in the blue Toleman pics I didn't know were there...

Well... it stil has easy solution! :) If you just put it on and cover carefully with a handbrush stroke of X22 clear, it won't harm the finish, I think!
Besides, and answering bossy's question, they were used exactly on this rally (Tour de Corse) because it was rally's sponsor, so they were on each and every car. So surely the tobacco/alcohol bans that started being more present in early eighties did not affect in this case.
For instance, those days tobacco and alcochol were already absent at 100 lakes Finland rally...

Ah! Found it. I was looking at the Martini blue stripes, not the number/ event board on the doors. Now my 037 is incomplete too.....damn.
