Lancia LC2 - Le Mans 1985 - Modeler's 1/24

Post by js1115 »

Hi guys,

Here is my last completed model! A very nice kit from Modeler's. This manufacturer produced easy to build models with very good looking parts (the wheels .... ).
Thanks to take a look at the pictures.

that's a beauty. there's just something about the martini livery that says racing. love it.

I have the same kit in my stash! What a build! You are correct, the turned aluminum anodized wheels are terrific.

There have been a bunch of LC2 variations, with the rear wheel track increasing (Modelers), and the headlight changes.
I think the Protar kit is an early version with narrow track, and two headlights.
The Tamiya Tamtech is wide track and two headlights.

JP, what paint did you use for the white bodycolor?

Beautiful! One of my all time favorite cars! I have this kit and as with all multimedia kits, the "glass" scares me no end to build it. How did you find the vac form pieces to work with?
