So, Managed to get the master cylinder parts and the boots done for the clutch side too. Also the lower control arm pivot boxes. I wonder if they are part of the substructure in side the drivers compartment (leg area) but there is no way to tell without being intimate with the vehicle so I have to guess at this. At the very least there are the boxes riveted to the inside of the monocoque.

Steve, the master cylinders are actually drawn 1:1 then scaled down. The other parts were drawn in 20th scale as I have no known 1:1 dimensions for the reservoirs, however I can upscale in solidworks easy enough. :)

An interesting way of putting your own skills into this model Paul. As I also have this kit (actually, this kit, Studio 27 and Tameo  ) I'm very interested in what you're doing. If you don't have the Tameo instructions, they could be helpful to you. Just download the PDF and take a look. Select McLaren and 1984 and you'll get to them

Wow, look at that nicely ventilated brake rotor! 3D printing (and your CAD skills) are impressive!

Cheers, Chris

Thank you! I cannot take credit for the printing part though. Shapeways does the printing for me.....until I can if ever afford a printer.
