Beemax MP4
Re: Beemax MP4
Got moving on the decals this weekend. Really impressed by the quality, you do have to careful as they are a very snug fit with little margin for error. It is just a case of planning. I will post some pictures later

Nearly forgot the detail book is excellent.

Honest I have done some work on the kit. All of the decals are on the floor, I was very impressed by the decals, they are a very good fit and respond to decals fix and they fit to the kit really well. Nice pattern as well. The etch is really, really fine and needs some care removing from the film as it is very easy to bend parts, but on the bright side you can bend them back again. However old big hands managed to mangle one a bit and sort of got it back into shape. glad I took the time to remove the raised triangles at the rear of the floor plan as the etch fits well on the flat surface. However, old dumbo forgot to mark on the floor where the originals were so had to guess the location for the etc, Doh. Pictures to follow, honest.
Re: Beemax MP4
in a veritable rush of modelling I have managed to get the reflective foil on and got some of the engine parts together. I know showing a real turn of speed now !!
Re: Beemax MP4
will try to get some better pictures done. Going for the Vaseline on the lens look for a atmospheric misty look .

I use gold superglue here in U.S., designed for foam, it does not fog, for all final assembly

Re: Beemax MP4
decals could and should be better but hopefully seat belts will hide the areas that need improvement
