MSM creation has released decals for protar Mclaren mp4/2C don't now if they are available for 20th scale ?
Yeah all I'd need from that Autocolor set is #5 & 6 the white Ms. Seems silly to buy a whole new set. Maybe I'll do it in true British GP markings but I never like seeing a Mboro car without the Mboros. Just doesn't look right to me.
Working the front suspension. Wasn't real clear exactly where the brake lines hooked into so I did my best. Wheels will always be on so realistically you won't see this much nor the improvised open calipers I did with a pen. Lol.
I did both sides differently as I had a new idea after I had glued half of one line. Again won't see much.
Painted the wheels finally. Gotta love Mc wheels in flat black nothing easier!
Thanks all for the good words and positive support. The body is really giving me issues now. Might buy some gravity paint and give that a try. I can do all this work and have the body mess it all up which I'd rather not have happen.
Anyway the measurements for the seatbelt a provided in the instructions are way wrong. Not sure what they were getting at. Especially don't go buy the drawings like most every other kit has.
Anyway that sorted I've got half the seatbelts attacked to the seat.
And the other half attach to the roll bar like the real thing so that's kind of cool. Fiddly as heck though let's see if I can't break them when I thread the belts through.
I have a headache from squinting and going to let those pe parts dry overnight.
Calling the seatbelts done. Had part of one of the Boss decals break off. I'll try n fix it with a dab of white paint. Might have made the shoulder straps too short but I think it looks ok and am happy to be done with them.
Also added the screens for the air intakes. They didn't fit too well or I did something wrong. Finally got them to a point I could slather some glue on the backside and hope it holds.
