Hi Jeff

The best pictures yet again. Thanks.

The cars are really BIG this year. If they ever get to the modelside of things we need bigger - and longer - display cases!

I really wonder about all these aero add ons. Some years ago they were all outlawed and we got 'cleaner' cars. Now they are a bewildering mass of tiny winglets, boards and who knows what? A modelling NIGHTMARE!!!!

'They' should really outlaw the use of windtunnels and rely on paper, pencil and the imagination of the designer. Oh well...

Best regards

Thanks again guys, I forgot to answer an earlier question about the Ferrari colour.

Yes it is more bright, I noticed this change already at last year's race, when the colour seemed to be similar/same to the bright red of the 1997 - early 2007 era.

All the intricate laying up of CF for all the insane aero bits has to be driving costs out of sight. Great pics!

Those are fantastic detail shots! Far better than what the 'professional publications' ever seem to manage these days... Well done! :)

Hi

Whatever happen to the simple frontwing with one plane and a flap? This is absolutely visual overkill and should be banned or reduced. As long as frontwings has these massive constructions they are so important in the downforcelevel and will be disturbed by dirty air - meaning that the cars can't get within the one second needed for DRS. China will be very important to follow. If they can't pass on these massive straights in Shanghai it will be a very dull season. Who ever gets to the first corner first will win unless Verstappen drives into him! :-)

I was thinking the exact-same thing, when I saw all the little aero add-ons this year. Wow! Makes me wonder if we'll ever see plastic kits of today's cars. All those thin flappy bits seem nigh impossible to injection mould...

Cheers, Chris
