Great project,
yes correct, the 80 ,90 Indycars are great, maybe will start building some Indycars, scale 1:43 or conversion 1:18.

There was a highly detailed build of this kit at the Southern Nats in Atlanta last year. It really opened my eyes to the potential in these Lolas.

I'll be watching this build with a lot of interest as I have two in the closet

Well nothing like digging up an old thread....But rather than have this one lay dormant and start a fresh i hope no one minds me digging this up?
I had put this away as you can see a LONG time ago. After doing some sorting of old boxes and having a great throw stuff away while my wife is away. I came across some reference material I had put aside and it made me think why not do it...
I should get into it but, our weather is turning here now and seeing I spray in the garage makes it a little hard to get a nice gloss finish, but we shall see how far I can get and maybe i get the point of waiting to clear the body come Spring here in melbourne.

Wow! 11 years! That is commitment.
The decals may be all dried up by now.

Oh I intend to, I have actually been doing some 2K painting of late. The problem is our stunning hot summer has not arrived as yet to stay. Ere we are the 2nd if December and my heating has kicked in this morning.

But I promise it will happen.

Decals still look good and are in an airtight container so fingers crossed.

Not much of an update but seeing it was so HOT here yesterday reaching 43C in temp I could not resist getting some painting done. I went old school and used enamel paint for the first time in a long time, the Blue Arrows Blue went on well and it was nice to have a smell different to the lacquers and acrylics.
