You can build Arie’s 1993 Indy 500 pole winner using the 1/20 scale Tamiya kit and Indycals decals.

Paul Erlendson
Just pointing out that to do Arie's (or any driver) car for the 1993 Indy 500, you need to get the Duracell version of the Tamiya kit, as that has the correct speedway wings. The Newman-Haas version of the kit has the bigger road course wings that were not used at Indy.

The side pods are different as well.

Nice build Belugawrx!

Bruce, great job on the Arie kit. The kit mods for paint really paid off. Your driver figure is a great touch. Is that the kit driver? Looks more like the driver figure from the 1998/99 Reynard kits to my eye. The cockpit and engine detailing adds something to it, too. Keep it up!!

I like the 1988 March and the Lola next to each other - hoping you will add that beautiful Penske PC17 to the field photo next!

Super cool! I built this one a couple years ago and it didn't look nearly this good. Great job!

Thank you for the nice comments everyone .
The driver figures, I picked up through Wim at bestbalsakits.. under the manufacturer GF models.
I plan on finishing one for each of the Indy cars I have, and yes I am well into the Penske PC - 17
Cheers all
