Holy cow! Paintwork is just incredible. I'm looking at this kit in the box and I'm baffled as to how you managed that. Easily one of the best 1/24/5 open wheel builds I've ever seen.

Fantastic job. I miss CART, went to many races, they used to race close enough to me that I could hear them at my house. Those were great times.

Yes, let me add my name to the list of those missing the CART days of yesteryear. I recently completed the Tameo 1/43 version of this car and had Rick sign the base. He looked at it and said it was his favorite car to drive. And let me also commend you on the build. The finish looks great and your photos are excellent as well.

What a smooth yellow beauty! Great build and great building tips. And yes, I'm another one who misses CART so much...

Thanks all
I loved to watch CART in the 90s, too, but I have to say, I actually like todays Indycar series as well. The racing is great, they have most of the good tracks back in the schedule and while the DW12 is no LolaT93, I prefer it's looks to the F1 cars of the last decade.
If you haven't watched it in a while, give it a go. The full race was usually available on youtube one or two days after the race in the last years, for us Europeans without TV coverage.

I miss CART, Penske Cars, and most especially Rick Mears. He is still my all time favorite.
You did really nice work on this one and it really shows. I love the fit and finish, I know it is not a perfect kit but it would be hard to do any better without exponentially increasing the time spent on the build. Keep up the good work, I really like this one.
