Jimmy Vasser 1999 Target Reynard

Post by Shunter »

I thought I would have a go at doing another Indy car even with everything we have on our plates here at present. So this is my starting point and I shall get into cutting it all up soon.

And I am thinking of using this gorgeous little item in it..

It's always a welcome change of pace to see an Indy subject here. Looking forward to this one.

At this pace I think you'll finish your Reynard way before I can finish mine!

Great subject Shayne! I am looking forward to see the engine installed.

Cheers,

Yes Michael sells them from Indycals, there is the Honda, Toyota and the Ford.

The cutting has commenced and I have to say scribing these bodies up wasn't too hard at all.

So I have separated the front section of the floor to be able to get the drivers seat etc in later, also removed the A arms so I can blend the nose to look like a solid item. The engine cover has been separated again to show off the Honda power plant and the rear fin has been taken off. So time to sand and then prime.
