Re: GB WIP. 1977 Tyrrell P34 Belgium GP. Tachometer
Tamiya forgot to update the tachometer on the instrument panel for the 1977 car so I have to fix this. I printed out the instruments and is building some frames to mount them on.

Re: GB WIP. 1977 Tyrrell P34 Belgium GP. On wheels
No vector art for me. I don't have time to learn that. I still work with bitmap images.
Now I have the cars standing on their wheels. Some minor things left to do.
Then it will be time to apply some Indycal decals.

Re: GB WIP. 1977 Tyrrell P34 Belgium GP. A small detail adde
I decided to add a small detail that would add some colour to the kit.
I stared by making a small circle of red ignition cord.
I needed a small piece of tube. I opted for some isolation from a cable.
I removed the isolation from a thin cable and twisted the strands. The red ring was glued to the small piece of tube.
I painted the tube and glued the twisted cable to it
and mounted it all to the roll bar.
The end of the cable was tucked away where it is invisible.
I'm not sure that I like the look of the red ring but the large picture makes it look worse.

Re: GB WIP. 1977 Tyrrell P34 Belgium GP. Decals started
There are different spacing between the letters on Ronnie's and Patrick's cars. The words First National hardly fit in the space on Patrick's car while there are space left both before and after the words on Ronnie's car. Now I'm not sure what to do. Separate all the letters on Patrick's car and get it more right or just leave it.
Having two different versions on the kit might be right but still look wrong and cutting the letters apart is a good way to mess it up.
