1/20 Shadow DN9B - ACE - "lioncar"
Hi guys !
It's time to start this kit and create the WIP topic !!!!!!
Conception of the kit is quite ..... unusual !!!! Last years, my major question was: "how can you glue together parts which never get into contact ?" So, you understand I was a bit sceptical regarding the issue.
Few weeks ago, I had the solution: transform the original parts to get a more conventional kit ! First steps will be devoted to basic modifications.
I created, from plastic sheets, an undertray. I also add some resin to the body, it will be useful to screw the undertray to the body.
I removed a lot a resin inside the cockpit by sanding.
Thanks for looking and sorry for my poor english....

Work goes on with the side pannels. They are made from aluminium and their shape is supposed to match perfectly ((I hope) the decals! I removed some resin to give place to the skirts.
It should look like this at the end.
I realised That there was something wrong .... Two left side skirts!!!
Smal work on the engine cover: I opened tha nacas and used again my favorite aluminium foil !

Hi Jean-Paul,
Good to see you taking on this difficult kit. I completed one some time ago and as you are finding a lot of scratch work is required. Be very careful of the decals, the are thick and do not conform easy. I found Daco Strong and a the use of a hair dryer was the way to go.
