Re: Race To Perfection
Fabulous Eye Candy and lots of great film footage - but the narrative and order of each programme is really odd. They jump from period to period and often there isnt much a thread keeping things together. You end an episode and you think, "Why did they include so and so"?
A simple chronology would I think have worked better with one episode for the 1950s, one for the 1960s and so on.
The layman viewer would have got to know the characters and the development of technology much better that way.
I will watch them all - but they are not as satisfying as I had hoped.
