Revell B194 Colors
Can anybody advise me on what Tamiya Colors best fit the Shuey B194 Revell 1/24? The light blue and the Green have me stumped. Thanks!

I don't think there is a direct match. I have this kit too.
The best is take the decal sheet and go to a hobby shop and check against the colors. The decal sheet has all the blues and green color on it.

Yes, you won't be able to get good matches from Tamiya.
When I built this 20+ years ago, I used TS35 Park Green which I felt at the time was acceptable.
I used a Testors spray paint to do the light blue.
Tamiya Light Blue and French Blue will be quite close to the middle blue on the decals, so the definition between the 2 colors won't be great. I think the gunze spray paints will have the same problem.
CK's advice is right, if it is spray paint you prefer, then hunting around your local model and auto paint shops might turn up a reasonable match.
This is a recent example which was posted here not long back which used Gravity colors.

Good luck with it!

Re: Revell B194 Colors
The green I used was Gravity Colors Citroen Vert Bambou GC-1125. The Dark blue on the rear wing area I used Renault Bleu Fonce GC-1153. The light blue which is the main body color I used a mix of Renault Bleu Clair Formule 1 GC-1152 with Titanium White GC-102. To mix I started with the white and added drops of the light blue till it looked right to me.
Also you are going to run into areas that you will need a touch up medium light blue ,for those tricky areas I used Tamiya Acrylic Sky Blue x-14. A rear wing medium light blue decal was used in a lot of areas to splice in on other tricky areas.
Hope this helps, good luck on your build!
