I would say yes, they are the same - but I'm not quite sure.Marc wrote:Are the tobacco markings the same as 49B? did not see any for the C

I also miss the name decals for Rindt - but I'm still looking for the right pictures.

Re: Ebbro Lotus 49C
IIRC the Gold Leaf logo on the side of the 49 was a bit larger in 1970 then in 1969.

Re: Ebbro Lotus 49C
The question would be if you could use the decals of Indycals from the Lotus 72C?

Re: Ebbro Lotus 49C
I suppose they used the same size on the 49C and the 72, but to be certain someone should place the decals of the two Ebbro kits side by side and let us know.
Btw:
Does the Ebbro kit offer any alternative versions like Fittipaldi's first race for Team Lotus?

Re: Ebbro Lotus 49C
According to Spotmodel, 3 GPs should be possible. Belgium / Great Britain / Monaco ...

Re: Ebbro Lotus 49C
I looked at pictures from the 1970 season and I think that the decals are for:
#3 Rindt at Monaco
#28 Fittipaldi at Great Britain and
#8 Fittipaldi at Austria.
Belgium must be wrong as Lotus didn't race with either #3, 8 or 28 at that race.
At Monaco it seems that Rindt didn't have his name on the car.
