1:43 F1 Car Display Cases

Post by dr_gn »

All,

I'm after a good quality display case for a 1:43 F1 car. I'd prefer the formed perspex type rather than the injection-moulded versions.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

I sell exactly what you're looking for but if you're outside the US shipping is typically almost as much as the case itself. But these are nice - optical quality acrylic. In fact, I just installed one last night. https://indycals.net/displaycases/display-43.html

Thanks, but it's for an individual car.

Another vote for BBR. They offer both a black surface and gray surface. Personal preference is for the gray.

I just checked the dimensions - seems very long for displaying an F1 car.

Another vote for the BBR-cases. Well made and good value for money compared to other offers.

I use their big cases with leatherette base for my 1:24 and 1:20 models too. Expensive but much better than the 10 bucks ones that are widely available.

The thing I like about the BBR is that the clear tops do not have an injection point right in the middle. After comparing them to other cheaper ones, it became very noticeable.
