1/20 scale wiring size

Post by tehSAC »

Wanting to purchase some wiring/hoses for a 1/20th scale Mclaren MP4/8 I'm working on. Cannot figure out what is the correct sizing for this scale? Does anyone know off the top of their head?

Thanks!

Wow! answering this "boom like that" would really be a triple deadly jump! :D
I would really recommend to chose what you find good. What? Yes!
Firstly, there will be more than one cble or hose... so, just take a good detailed pic where you see what you want to replicate. Using the rule of three: a/b=A/B, compare dimensions with a known measure of your model: the  camcovers or whatever.
You can even take measures on your screen or Photoshop. It's quite easy.

I mainly use 0,15 - 0,2mm for smaller diameters, 0,3 - 0,4mm for middle and 0,5 - 0,6 for larger diameters.
Take a stand!

There are some download manuals from Top Studio here.
It's not the MP4/8 but I hope it will help a little bit.
The MP4/6 is I think most useable for you.

Top Studio manuals

Forgot to say that i mean the wiring, not the hoses which can be larger in that scale!

The MP 4/6 is 1:12, not helpfull, MP 4/4 would be the right choice

You are right, my failure!
But you could rescale. :D
