Can You Guess The 1/8th Car?
I enjoy the guessing game every month with the MFH models, so I thought I would throw this 1/8 scale car out there to see if anybody has a clue. It is from Agora Models in the US. It is coming out on the 22nd and I am trying to guess which one it is. The pic is a screen grab from my phone, so I included a link for a better look. The picture is a bit larger on the actual website. It is clearly a race car, pre 1992 when they still used white letters. Another Shelby car? F40LM that is floating around Europe? Doubtful if its a GT40 as Model-Space just released one.

Well, it is Memorial Day weekend, so perhaps an Indy Car? Highly unlikely, but you never know. Comes out today. We will see shortly.

427SC it is! Order placed.

So, quick question, does the detail level justify the 4 digit price tag for these models?

Re: Can You Guess The 1/8th Car?
That depends on how you look at it. I average things out. I have a pretty large collection of 1/8 cars, most of which are museum quality and once the world resumes semi-normal function, most of them are off to a car museum in Los Angeles, a non-profit, so I will get a pretty large tax deduction. I am donating between 5-7 of some pretty rare cars. I also have bought and sold many for a profit over the years. So if I like the car, and if I think I can make it better, yes, worth it. But a good question.leafs004 wrote:So, quick question, does the detail level justify the 4 digit price tag for these models?

Also hate the subscription thing. Takes forever.
