Re: MFH wish list
This may sound odd, but i wish they would slow down and spend a bit more time on each kit.
They’ve kitted many / most of the cars i would have nominated, but i’ve bought very few.
Difficult to correct issues (eg extra long nose on the f189, ‘avon’ fronts on the 312t2) have turned me off.
Maybe just spoiled for choice....

I am so tired of wishing. I would buy any Can Am. Chaparral McLaren especially.

Re: MFH wish list
Being Canadian, I would love to see a 1/12 Williams FW19 - Jacques Villeneuve's title winning car. It would look great alongside the various Gilles cars, but to my knowledge has only been produced by Revell in 1/24 (rather crude), and Studio 27 in 1/20th.
The same scenario could apply to a 1/12 Williams FW18 Re: Damon Hill and his father's rides.

Re: MFH wish list
McLaren F1 is such an icon. So, it escapes me why no F1-GTR short or/and long tail in 1/12 yet.

Re: MFH wish list
The Chaparral 2K Indycar would be a must have for me, as would any Indycar MFH would do. I have the 2 DW12s they did. I would like to see something late 70s - early 80s. Williams FW07 - 08, for example.
We are spoiled. We had a long drought with no 1/12 F1 cars. This is why many of us have a stash with more kits than we could ever build. One has to buy kits when they are available. We have all said "wish I would have bought one back when they came out".

Re: MFH wish list
Well on the Chaparrals - what about 2D ('66/67) and 2F 1967? As a GPLista, they ran the Sportscar World Championship series in '67 so are a hotF1tommy wrote:ah100m wrote:I agree strongly with the Chaparrals - how about a companion McLaren M8B to go with it? I remember going to a CanAm race at Bridgehampton and being surprised to see those big, noisy orange cars of Bruce and Denny.
Maybe but not everyone is interested in Can Am especially outside of North America. Only the "special" Can Am cars would be popular.
Porsche 917/10 is very special but I would do the sportscar 2D and 2F Chaparrals first as those would be the most popular around the world. Modelers from Japan I think did the most Chaparral models in 1/24th scale and a book so the cars are very popular over there as well.
contender, even for Non-Can Am fans . While on the subject, I would like the Porsche 917/10 as well, to complete the lineup (and a 917 '69
with the convertible tail) and of course a Ferrari 512S /M. I think that's it from me.
Or rather, back to the GPL theme, any of the missing 1967 GP cars (Brabham BT24, BRM P115, Cooper T86, Honda RA300) but that would be
optional. I think that should cover about 12 months of cars
Cheers,
Roman
