Can I apply Zero Paint 2-part Etch Primer on Tamiya plastics

Post by danibear »

Gentlemen,
Has anyone applied Zero Paint 2-part Etch Primer on Tamiya plastics? I am asking about this ZP etch primer specifically. :D

http://www.hobbyworld-usa.com/Store/ind ... esults=334

I remember some one in this forum said awhile ago that it can be applied to plastics without issues, but can't recall exactly.....
The reason I am asking is that this ZP etch primer gives me the smoothest surface in the primer department, so that I can achieve the best semi-gloss black and silver results. Also, this ZP etch primer has the best attaching capacity to the resin and metals, wonder if it has the same level of attaching ability to plastics if can be used. Thank you so much!!!

The instruction under your posted link says: Prepare the mixture in a plastic beaker DO NOT USE metallic containers. So maybe not the best adhesion on plastic I guess...
