Hi Steve,
the original sizes were taken from wikipedia. I know you always have to be carefull about those informations, but I didn't found any other sources. I thought the height is refering to the highest point of the car, which is usually the rollbar. But James, who had been in contact with me before I started the thread already mentioned the rollbar is sometimes depending on the driver, and he is right. The kit of the Lotus 79 for example comes with different rollbar's for Andretti and Peterson.
For late ground effect cars (1981/1982) there was a 6cm ground clearence rule. I don't know if this is also taken into account.
As MFH had a Ferrari licence and as far as I know access to their documents, I am sure their sizes are either correct or very close to reality.
About the Burago cars being 1/20: There had been a few threads in the past about this matter.

So, another two victims to be converted into something better are the Williams FW08C and the McLaren MP4/2. But I think the MP4/2 isn't worth the extra work, as there is a kit by Beemax available by now.
Best regards,
Steffen

Jens' conversion was really, really nice!
So with Fujimi parts now a help, things can only get better.
So basically it's all OK but for the nose (big distance "e" shortage is due to the nose, rest is spot on), so maybe MFH did it too long, or it changed thru the season.
I'll try to find a good pic.
Stay tuned
Great debate research thread Steffen!
