DFV Funnel Mesh Tool
Is it bad memory or did someone make a DFV Funnel mesh tool, a male-female pattern to press screen material?
Re: DFV Funnel Mesh Tool
Not sure, but making your own one is soooo easy. A plug with the desired shape (be it the "hot dog" for 4 cylinders, or easier, a brush round end for 1 cylinder), and a deep enough thing with slightly bigger hole than the plug.

Re: DFV Funnel Mesh Tool
I share that memory, and here’s the tool. It’s available from Harbor Freight Tools online. A set of 25 “punches” of various sizes and a square block. Put a piece of mesh in the appropriate sized tool in the cube and use the punch to shape it. If this link doesn’t work, it’s called a 25 Domer punch, under Hand Tools and Punches in the category menu. Works great, but it’s heavy and pretty large.
