not sure about the size (i cannot check as i don't have the kit in my stash), but shape is pretty much the same as st27 funnels. Maybe you can check if you can use them...

Interesting you should mention turned wheels. Just received a e-mail today from Thunder Valley just about a set f/312T. Contact him and let him know you are looking for a set as well. They are pre-order and he will instruct on what you need to do.
The brake cooling ducts and decals from IndyCals is a must. Tip....as soon as you get the printed parts, clean as recommended.
The Photo Etch from Scale Motorsports is very pricy unless you luck up on a set from eBay. They are complex and one has to use great care applying.
BestBalas Kits is the better deal, unless you just have to go w/SMS set for the full metal cover chassis. You get everything you could want for the build.
Might I suggest MHF seat belt kit as well.
RB Motion has some goodies you can use too.
If you do not find Throttle Plate Trumps...….strip the ones that come in kit and paint Testor's Bright Silver and add Fag Screens, they are very easy to make yourself, fine brass wire mesh readily available.

so this what I have located for the 312t so far. brake duct and decals from indycals, photo etched and decals coming from bestbalsa, velocity stacks coming from thunder valley f1. Still thinking about the photo etched set from scale motorsports...kinda pricey at 230 dollars, but would really look awesome.....no go on wheels from thunder valley. Still need seat belts. Oh, also have velocity stack covers coming from someone in Germany through eBay....

PS: Check into Gator Glue for all that PE. The stuff is great for PE and holds well.

I got the BBK photoetch for this kit a few years ago, the only problem I had was that on the PE for the rotor surfaces all of the curved lines that go out from the center are etched the same direction. That means that when you put them on either side of the kit rotors they will point opposite directions, it really needs 4 curving forward and 4 curving back. I've attached a pic of the PE that came in the reboxed Tamiya kit from a few years ago for a visual. The radiator surfaces, seatbelt hardware and everything else are excellent! Wim, if you see this has it ever been brought up and/or corrected?

o, waaw,
never noticed, nobody ever told me either.

I'll send in file to etch adjusted setup, cause the only way to offer is the correct way.
It will take approx 4 weeks for items to arrive here.

just got the photo etched set and decals yesterday. thanks for quick service. interesting about the brake rotor parts being incorrect, never would have noticed until it was pointed out. not a problem....it will still look good when finished...
