Why is this hole in the Martini version ?

Just as I painted my Martini ( lotus)..I discovered too late that this hole is not suposed to be there..why is this not mentioned before ? :wink:

PS: the hole does not appear on most JPS cars either ?

I'd swear I've seen that before, even if not exactly there -no, I'm not trying to make any dirty joke :lol:- and probably with something red inderneath, but I've been wrong about spotting and/or not spotting before...

Ok, this is weird. I just checked my Tamiya Martini Lotus 79 kit, and indeed that hole is there on my kit also. I then checked my Tamiya JPS Lotus 79 and it's there too! :shock:

There is no hole there on my Hasagawa kit.............. :roll:

Corrupt FISA officials referred to this as the Assangehole. These holes were subsequently banned and blocked up when it was discovered Lotus was using this to leak their Wiki for greater speed. Rumour has it if you put your ear up to it you can hear Sweden. :mrgreen:

OK, then maybe a part is suposed to be fitted into the hole -please no jok... oh dear!- to make the bump, as some kits have to make the protuberance for gear lever...
